You forgot to mention Joseph Swan, Grant. Swan was an English chemist and inventor who in 1860 demonstrated a working electric light bulb which consisted of a carbonised paper filament in an evacuated glass bulb. The bulbs were used in certain applications but due to the short life of the filament and the difficulty of making glass bulb capable of maintaining a good vacuum, they were not commercially viable. So that's now 4 inventors / engineers to be credited for their part in illuminating the world.
