The writer exposes himself as a member of the Warmageddonist cult in this paragraph:
“ Narratives that seek to explain climate inaction fall short when they don’t acknowledge the numerous factors contributing to climate denial, particularly the disinformation campaigns that amplify existing doubts. The history of organized denial is an important part of stories about climate policy.”
Apart from the fact that he mentions climate denial when none of the well known secptics has ever denied that there is a climate (lots of them actually,) all he is stating is that anyone who does not agree with him about the motivations of climate change sceptics simply basing their opinion on cherry picked data that affirms their prejudices.
Back in 2000 a ‘climate scientist’ (research grant phising scaremonger,) predicted without caveat or qualification that by 2010 snow would be unknown and in future children would only know it as a folk memory. Right now, in 2019, a huge trance of Europe is covered in a thick blanket of folk memory, which has disrupted road and rail transport and business activity in eastern France, northern Italy, Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic and south east Germany.
People are tearing their hair out, trying to find out what the stuff is, “It can’t be snow,” they tell each other, “a bunch of scientists have said snow would not exist in 2019, and anyone who challenges what scientists say is only using information that conforms their own prejudices.”
The problem with climate alarmist doom mongers is they rely to much on data generated by computer models instead of taking a look out of the window to see what’s happening in the real world.
