The simplest way to avoid COVID — 19 related stress however, is to recognise that the fear and panic generated by hysterical reports in mainstream media is completely over the top. More people are likely to die because of the economic disruption resulting from the irrational responses to this relatively minor infection (lockdown, layoffs, suspension of economic activity etc.) than were ever likely to die from the desease.
Read the article and take on board the things it suggests, modern life is very stressful and they’ll be good for you if you are a person who gets stressed, but I’m not sure what is meant by “activate your vagus nerve,” because if it was deactivated (a very easy thing to do but I’m not going to describe how for obvious reasons,) you’d be dead in a few seconds.
My own advice to avoid being stressed out by COVID — 19 scaremongering (Call me a conspiracy Theorist if you like, but I’m sure its part of a power grab by the Deep State,) is to research for yourself some of the real statistics, rather than the numbers being put out by government propaganda offices and spread by mainstream media. For example this page on the UK government Office Of National Statistics site shows that the “excess winger deaths” for the five weeks ended 20 March, 2020 is 1% higher than the average, a figure well within the normal year on year variation.
Normal seasonal ‘flu is still infecting and killing more people than COVID — 19 so remember the advice given by the fictional Hitch Hiker’s Guide To The Galaxy:
