The problem in the USA, as in Britain and around Europe is that governments which define themselves as democratic have been drifting towards fascism for decades. Part of the reason this had happened is the vague definitions of fascism used by the political establishments and mainstream media.
To understand it we have to go back to ancient Rome, where ‘the fasces’, an image of an axe with its shaft protected by a bundle of sticks, symbolised the unbreakable power of the Empire’s central authority.

Rome of course, decayed from the centre outwards, and we see the same happening now in the developed nations. Wikileaks have done a lot to expose the corruption at the heart of the system which is why Assange has to be silenced.
