That's reassuring, I'm type O.
Seriously there are so many reports and studies on COVID-19 being published the only thing that is becoming clear is that the medical professionals and academic researchers still understand little about its origins and potential treatments.
Perhaps in view of what we do know, i.e. it predominantly affects old people and people with pre existing health conditions, it's time everybody took a couple of steps back and looked at it from a slightly different perspective.
What I mean is that as I've recently read here and elsewhere that COVID19 is a disease of the heart and blood vessels, that it causes brain damge, that it affects the liver, kidneys and other vital organs, disrupts the digective tracts and of course that it is a respitarorty disease, it strikes me, a non medical person, that these conditions are al associated with the problems already associated with the virus, heart failure, diabetes etc. the case may be that the virus is good at finding these vulnerabilities and exploiting them.
This is pure speculation on my part of course, but the right people asking such questions would be more constructive than simply cranking up the Orwell-Huxley-Dick dystopianamo to even higher levels.
