Thanks for this Caitlin, I’ve been reporting the fake news being published about Syria since 2013 There are few westerners at large in Syria now, so as the Assad government have been labelled The Bad Guys in the west our medias main source of information are ISIS / Al Nusra who are harly likely to be objective.
Another good source for people who want something close to the truth is Canadian freelancer Eva Bartlett, although I think Eva has returned to the west now for reasons of self preservation and is relying on info from personal contacts in Syria.
