Thanks for the comment Sophie ;quoting any source necessarily leads to the quoted passage being removed from its context. The Buddhist philosphy is about constantly widening our field of experience therefore anyone who is doing it properly will have a widening viewpoint.
Also Hindu and Buddhist philosophies are subtle, when we are advised to not believe something, that is not the same as telling us to disbelieve it. It’s like reminding the people who blether on about “evidence based thinking,” that absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.
