Thanks Anand, perhaps I am the wrong person to comment on articles like this, having been immunised against ‘gaslighting’ by an education that taught pupils to question everything and always think for ourselves.

Also I can be a bit pedantic about the use of language and have a built in resistance to terms like ‘gaslighting’ which in its true meaning (illumiation derived from the burning of gas,) has no relation to the activity it has come to imply, especially when there are many better words and slang terms which imply the same thing..
