Since she ran into unexpectedly tough questioning on BBC TV’s Andrew Marr show last Sunday (tough in the sense that Mar actually asked her questions instead of just letting her sit there while he told her how wonderful she is, Hillary has been cancelling and simply missing scheduled press and radio interviews and TV appearances in Britain all week. She is due to record The Graham Norton show tomorrow. We’ll look out for her on the sofa when it screens on Friday.
Graham Norton, for those who do not know of him is a mischievous Irish comedian whose uses his gayness to go where other interviewers dare not. And he’s a master of the double and even the triple entendre. If a restrained political interviewer like Marr could upset Hillary (especially when he asked if she felt it hypocritical to publicly condemn her erstwhile friend Harvey Weinstein when for decades she had refused to criticize her husband’s behaviour, Graham Norton is going to tear her to shreds it she actually turns up.
