“Mina has ‘little faith’ in the accuracy or extent of COVID-19 testing so far. Between people who are sick but have not been tested and the unknown number of people carrying the disease without any symptoms, and transmitting it, Mina and other epidemiologists says it’s completely unknown how many people are actually infected.”
So Mina, in common with everyone else, has no idea how many people are infected because (it is believed by researchers,) most people infected show no symtoms.
Here in The UK it has been revealed several times by whistleblowers that hospital staff are being instructed to crecord ALL deaths from respiratory problems as being caused by COVID — 19 coronavirus. Some have said that deaths which are nothing to do with COVID — 19 are being attributed to the disease. We can only speculate as to why but its probable most peoples’ opinion, that it is to cover up the fact that responses from politicians, academics and the medical professions have been driven by fear and panic rather than reason, logic and empirical evidence.
A few days ago I reported on my UK blog that a German professor, Dr. Sucharit Bhakdi, Professor Emeritus of Medical Microbiology at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz had, in an open letter to Angela Merkel, pointed out the fundamental flaw in all the coronavirus statistics being quoted in mainstream print and broadcast media. He explained:
In infectiology — founded by Robert Koch himself — a traditional distinction is made between infection and disease. An illness requires a clinical manifestation. Therefore, only patients with symptoms such as fever or cough should be included in the statistics as new cases.
In other words, a new infection — as measured by the COVID-19 test — does not necessarily mean that we are dealing with a newly ill patient who needs a hospital bed. However, it is currently assumed that five percent of all infected people become seriously ill and require ventilation. Projections based on this estimate suggest that the healthcare system could be overburdened.
Dr. Bhakdi followed up with a question:
Did the projections make a distinction between symptom-free infected people and actual, sick patients — i.e. people who develop symptoms?
Until about a week ago Germany had a remarkably low rate of people needing treatment to people testing positive. This was explained by another German doctor, a medical practitioner rather than an academic this time. She said that initially Germany had only recorded coronavirus as cause of death where it was the sole cause or major contributory factor, in stead of attributing any death in which the infection was present in the patient at the time of their dying to COVID — 19.
We have seen the same statistical scam being deployed in Britain to prop up the campaign of fear and panic mongering in justifation of the authoities hysterical response to the disease, and it has also been reported in Italy and Spain the two European nations reportedly hardest hit. The use of wasel words to cloak the deception has also been noted too. People, (including two well known celebrities both many years past the peak of their fame,) have been reported as “died with coronavirus,” rather than died OF coronavirus.
Once again I can only repeat in conclusion, the words of ancient Greek playwright Euripades, (died circa 400 BC) “Question everything, learn something, tell nothing.”
