Last week in Britain a young black man named Marcus Rashford, an soccer player who has represented England at international level, led a campaign to force a change of government policy by causing a massive public outcry over a decision to suspend provision of free meals for children from familiesd hit by the conronavirus pandemic.
Marcus Rashford did not take that action because Black Lives Matter or to make a point about systemic racism whatever that is. He did it for disadvantaged people, regardless of race or religion.
That is an example of how to improve relations between ethnic groups. Article like this might provide opportunities for self flagellation to those afficted by acture virtue signalling but in the end they only increase tensions rather than easing them.
