Interesting article Will, I have bookmarked it to read again, (probably more than once) for greater understanding.

I'm not a physicist but as a computer specialist I worked in the nuclear industry for several years and from working with people who do real stuff rather than the theoretical guys I learned there's a lot about the make up and behaviour of sub atomic particles that is at best only partially understood and that in published research many gaps have been filled in with assumptions.
