I'm a septugenarian Englishman but I have a very good memory and I reacall a rather well known civil rights campaigner made a speech in which he said somthing about having a dream have a dream that his children could live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

That dream will never be realised while people like the author of this article reduce everybody to a skin colour.

In order to be disabused on the foolish notion that people who share the same skin tope also share a cultural identity one only has to visit sub Saharan Africa where people with the same colour skin but different tribal roots will hate each other simply because their tribes are enemies.

This story from The LA Times describes the problem:

Opted for comfortable retirement before I was fifty due to health problems and burn out. Now spend my time writing and goofing around. Home: northern England..
