I use my wheelchair for cooking because my left leg objects to standing for long periods. So I'd just dumped my pasta in a pan of boiling water and reached back to put the pasta box out of the way. And I had one of the reflex actions I sometimes get when stretching, my arm zinged back and caught the tip of the pan handle, flipping it.

Some of the water went into the chair and pooled under my right cheek. You should have seen me run to the bathroom to get cold water on it, I haven't moved so fast in over 20 years.

The deep wasn't on the bit I put most pressure on when I sit, so I've survived. And my faboutite carer was very willing to put soothing ointment on it for me. She said it was the firdt time she's been able to do anything for me. Being registered disabled and living on my own I get a 20 minute visit every day just to make sure I'm still alive.

Going to make myself a steak sandwich now, no boiling water involved LOL
