I like the Game of Thrones suggestion, but I’m afraid the deaths of GoT characters were predicted far more accurately 400 years ago:
Our revels now are ended. These our actors,
As I foretold you, were all spirits and
Are melted into air, into thin air:
And, like the baseless fabric of this vision,
The cloud-capp’d towers, the gorgeous palaces,
The solemn temples, the great globe itself,
Ye all which it inherit, shall dissolve
And, like this insubstantial pageant faded,
Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff
As dreams are made on, and our little life
Is rounded with a sleep.
The Tempest, act 4 scene 1, William Shakespeare
The characters all have 100% chance of dying by the end of season 8.
The actors will be reincarnated in other roles of course, and the characters (some of them at least) will live in our memories and in TV and digital archives but the lives we create for them in real time in our minds will have ended at the flick of a switch.
Unless some of the rumoured spin offs get made. Fingers crossed.
