I find it an amazing lack of self awareness that as a member of the generation who collectively embraced the concept of “hate speech” so readily when it was introduced to you by superannuated Alinskyite authoritarians, you can blame older generations for the way social media has degenerated to the level of a group argument in a kindergarden play yard.

And I really have an issue with your claim that Millennials are open minded. Be honest, your generation are The Borg. The reason you found social media such an amenable safe space before older people took refuge there because email had become unusable and online forums were filled with ‘millennials’ wittering about diversity, multiculturalism, racism, homophobia, hate speech etc. and shouting down any unorthodox opinion or idea, was that you are all programmed to think the same thoughts. You people suffer from a lack of diversity, you are a monoculture.
