As someone already in the thread says, this advice is ridiculously simplistic (and full of cliches). And like so many of the lifestyle advice articles I see here and elsewhere, it offers one size fits all advice, it shows a naive lack of awareness of the fact that the audience are all vastly different individuals.

The only general advice I would give to men, (and women and people who set out to write lifestyle advice articles,) is don’t try too hard.
