A well written piece, unfortunately you seem to be suggesting that anybody who holds a differing opinion to yours is a bad person. If you want to see real racism however, you should visit Africa or South East Asia. At the moment there is a civil war brewing in Kenya between the numerically superior Kikuyu tribe and the Luo, in the wake of a disputed election. The civil war in Darfur (South Sudan) is over ethnic tensions between the Murle and the Lou Nuer tribes. And maybe you are too young to remember the kerfuffle in Rwanda twenty years ago when the dominant Hutu decided to ethnically cleanse the land of ethnic Tutsi. FYI, the Hutu are not white, though there is long standing hostility between the two groups, both are sub Saharan African. You can find similar racial (tribal) wars in Niger (also a big centre for the slave trade in which European nations are not active — the buyers are mostly African or Arab,) Mali, Congo, Central African Republic, Somali and Burkia Faso as well as many other African nation states.
Straying into some part of certain towns when you have the wrong tribal features can get you killed in any of these places and many more.
As tribal societies are rather intolerant of inter — tribal relationships, tribes become closed breeding pools and have developed distinct ethinicity. And they don’t mix well.
Before America can hop to start healing its divided society, people who style themselves ‘the left’ must kick the guilt habit, cease to labour under the misapprehension that ‘white’ and ‘black’ are races, and abandon the belieft tht they hold a monopoly on virtue and truth.
